These are tough times. I hope that you are staying safe and healthy.
The photography industry has been hit hard by the current pandemic. We’ve been forced to shut down our business and events, weddings and previously booked sessions are all either cancelled or rescheduled.
This isn’t a pity party, though. I’ll get through this. We’ll get through this.
I’ve seen examples of humans come together, and it’s been inspiring. I’ve also seen examples of many small businesses pivot. Restaurants are pivoting to provide curb-side pick-up. Physical therapists are pivoting to video calls with their patients. Yoga studios are pivoting to offer live-stream yoga sessions. The list goes on.
I realized – I should pivot, too.
I also realized that since all of my sessions for the Spring are being cancelled and rescheduled, my Fall (the next busiest time of the year for photographers) will get completely booked up in no time.
That’s why I’m making dates available for limited micro sessions.
What is a Micro Session?
A micro session is the same thing as a typical portrait session experience just with limited time. As with all of our sessions we will have time to get know all about you and your family and hear about what you’d love to have documented.
The only difference between a micro session and my typical portrait session experience is that I pre-choose the location to be somewhere ideally suited for Fall sessions, and the session itself is limited to 45 minutes since I book sessions back-to-back.
The best part?
Well – since I book the sessions back-to-back, I save on travel, time and prep, and so I get to pass those savings on to you! My typical portrait session experience is $300, but this particular Micro Fall Session is available for $250.
I’d love to photograph you and your family this Fall, and I know that dates are going to book up quickly, so let’s get a date and time locked in now, and we can have a pre-planning meeting in a month or so to start talking about the details.
